How long will it take for us to receive our wedding photographs?

Around 4 to 8 weeks depending on the time of year, the package you’ve chosen and whether you’ve selected any add-ons. I know how agonising the wait can be when you’re excited, so I promise to share a sneak peek via social media on or after your wedding day. 

How many photographs will we get?

Every wedding is unique, so I don’t have a limit on the number of images I deliver. As a rough guide, a full day of wedding coverage usually generates between 500-1000 photographs with a choice of up to 50 images for your wedding album.

Can we have a pre-wedding photoshoot?

Of course! A pre-wedding photoshoot (or engagement session) is a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to see how I work. Many of my couples choose to display the images from their engagement session at their wedding. 

Will you visit my wedding venue beforehand?

If I haven’t photographed your venue before, providing it’s no more than 30 minutes from my business address, I will arrange a venue visit to familiarise myself with the location. If your chosen venue is further away, I will do plenty of research beforehand to ensure I’m prepared.

Our venue is more than one and half hours away from you. Can you still cover our wedding?

Definitely! I feel incredibly fortunate that my camera allows me to visit some of the most beautiful locations throughout the UK. Please bear in mind there will be an additional charge for travel and accommodation. To allow for any unexpected delays or travel hiccups, I prefer to arrive at least 24 hours before your wedding. This also ensures I’m well rested and ready to photograph your day. 

How do we book?

If you’d like to book or learn more about my services, you can email me on XXXX. I aim to reply within 48 hours, but it may take a little longer during peak wedding season. It really helps to give me a brief overview of your wedding plans, such as dates, locations and an approximate number of guests. 

What happens once we book?

To confirm your booking and secure your wedding date, I require a £250 non-refundable deposit. Your remaining balance must be settled no later than four weeks before your wedding date. 

I like to keep in touch with my couples throughout the planning process. One month before your wedding date is an ideal time to hold your engagement photoshoot session. This gives me ample time to edit and deliver your images if you’re planning to display them on your wedding day. Many couples like to frame a large photograph for their guestbook table or have a selection scrolling on projector screens at the reception.

A couple of weeks before your wedding day, we can either meet up to finalise plans or run through everything via email. It’s useful to have a full itinerary so I can plan where I need to be and when.
